SPRINGFIELD (The Republican/Masslive) – Springfield Boys & Girls Club 15th Annual Festival of Trees takes place from Friday, Nov. 27 to Dec. 13 at Tower Square in downtown Springfield. Trees donated and decorated by business, civic and social organizations, schools, hospitals, families and individuals are raffled off at the conclusion of the event. All proceeds of the event will help the Springfield Boys & Girls Club continue its 124 years of charitable work by providing children in the community with hope, opportunity, and a safe place to learn and grow. Hours are Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Thursday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $5 ages 13 and up, $4 seniors and children 12 and under free. Current active military personnel and their families admitted free throughout the festival. Free parking at the Tower square garage, bring your parking ticket to the festival for validation.
