SPRINGFIELD — You probably don’t decorate your Christmas tree at home with gift certificates or other valuable items, but the 137 trees on display at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Springfield’s 15th annual Festival of Trees are filled with treasures ranging from $500 to $1200.

Visitors to the Tower Square event can buy raffle tickets for chances to win a tree and everything on and under it.

Serving as the club’s major fundraiser of the year, the Festival showcases trees decorated by local businesses, non-profits, and individuals. Many families donate trees in memory of a loved one.
