After School Day Care

LICENSED AFTER SCHOOL DAY CARE
BEGINS AUGUST 30, 2010
For Kids 5 - 13 Years Old

FEES
Private Pay Fees:

After School Only Rate:
$14.50 per day
After School, School Vacation & Summer Rate:
$19.02 per day
Summer (day hours only) Rate:
$29.05 per day
School Aged Child Care Program Fees Must be paid on a weekly basis and are due Friday prior to the service week. Failure to pay these fees result in loss of service.
 
New England Farm Workers Vouchers Accepted.

 to make an appointment with New England Farm Workers.


TRANSPORTATION:
Transportation is available for those who wish to have their child transported.
Private Pay Fees:
$9.00 Two Ways     |     $6.00 One Way

for the beginning of the new school year.

SNOW DAY POLICY:
In the event of extreme weather conditions the following procedures will be followed:

In the event that the Springfield School System closes the Springfield Boys & Girls Club Licensed School Aged Day Care will open at 9:30 a.m.  Transportation (Brathwaite Transportation) services will not operate during the morning.  If weather conditions do not become worse, the transportation company (Brathwaite Transportation) will provide transportation services at the end of the program.


If weather conditions become worse during the day when the Springfield Boys & Girls Club Licensed Day Program is opened, the Executive Director will make a decision to close the program.  At that time parents/guardians will be notified to pick up their children and transport them home.

In the event the Springfield Boys & Girls Club Licensed School Day Care closes, families can tun into WWLP-TV 22 or WGGB-News40 for related weather/program announcements. 
 
PICK-UP POLICY:
When picking up your child from the program YOU ARE REQUIRED TO SIGN HIM/HER OUT ON A DAILY SIGN-OUT SHEET along with recording the time you leave. No child will be allowed to leave the program with a person who is not listed on his/her registration form. Parents must notify the program of anyone who is not listed who will be picking up your child. All children must be picked up by the hour closing each day. Parents will be charged $10.00 per hour for each hour past 6:00 p.m.
 
POLICY FOR PROVIDING LUNCH/SNACKS:
Snacks will be provided during the school year and to youth enrolled in the Springfield Boys & Girls Club School Aged After School Program. Lunch will be provided to youth ONLY during the summer hours of the program. It is the parent's responsibility to provide nutritious lunch during program hours that operate during school vacations and holiday that fall during the school year. Parents are also responsible for providing a lunch and snack in the event the school closes for early dismissal.
